TCL P618L 5000 mAh Battery Phone review

We knew the TCL P618L existed, as a handset with a very impressive 5000 mAh battery, but we didn’t know its price till today. This model, that’s actually not a bad looker, can be seen below.

It will be priced at $272 on the local Chinese market and it brings a 5 inch 720p display, with 2.5D glass. It measures 9.15 mm in thickness, quite OK for such a beefy battery device. Inside we find a Snapdragon 410 quad core CPU, a 64 bit unit clocked at 1.2 GHz. There’s also 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of ROM included, as well as a main 13 MP camera and a front 5 MP selfie shooter.

Android 4.4 is the OS here and we’ve got dual SIM slots and LTE support on the features list too. The front side Home button makes me think of a fingerprint scanner, but for the above mentioned price, I think that would be a bit too much. From what I see big batteries and 2.5D glass have become a bit of a trend among Chinese device makers…
